Royal Mail and Parcelforce Strikes

All these strikes are very annoying, especially this close to Christmas! We want to help make things easier for you!

As many of you will know and have faced, both Royal Mail and Parcelforce have had scheduled strike days throughout September and this will unfortunately continue through October to December.

As stated on the Royal Mail website:

“The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take further national strike action on the following dates:

• Wednesday 14th December 2022
• Thursday 15th December 2022
• Friday 23rd December 2022
• Saturday 24th December 2022

Further dates have also been announced by the CWU for functional strike action which impacts parts of our operation on the following:

• Processing, Distribution, International, Collections, Admin: 3, 9, 15, 24 November and 1 December 2022
• Delivery: 4, 10, 16, 25 November and 2 December 2022
• Network: 2, 8, 14, 23, 30 November 2022”

These dates can change or be taken away if agreements are made within Royal Mail and Parcelforce, as soon as we receive any information we will be sure to let you know! These delays will not affect our service, all orders placed before 2pm will be dispatched same day and if placed after they will be dispatched next working day.

Special Delivery and 24 Tracked orders will still be delivered, these options are on our checkout for you to select if you wish to!
